Are you and music superstar Usher Connected?

If you had a birthday party, recorded an individual recording, or filmed a professional video or audio item at 2BU Studios/2BU Professional Studios within the last year in a half, you may be connected to music superstar Usher.

If the item you created was produced by Rob Kleiner, former 2BU Studios recording studio manager, then you and music superstar Usher share the same music/video producer.  Rob Kleiner, Chicagoland musician, chose to invest some of his time to help young musicians cultivate their talent and build their self-esteem through his work at 2BU Studios.  2BU Studios, in Lincolnshire, Illinois, helps kids understand that everyone is a rock star.  Through Rob’s work with many different kid groups, including kids with special challenges, he was able to help kids appreciate audio and video recordings, while helping them feel good about themselves.

Rob Kleiner recently accepted a job with Atlantic records in Hollywood, California.  He now is contributing to recordings for popular musicians such as Timbaland, David Guetta, and music superstar Usher.

“Even though we were sad to see Rob leave, we are very happy that he is being recognized for his talents and doing what he loves,” said Cathy Wolfson, co-owner of 2BU Studios.  “This is what 2BU Studios is all about; working with talented people following their passion for the arts.  Rob has had a big influence on our business and has really helped us build out our concept of helping kids appreciate their own talents.  Even though we will miss Rob, we are very excited to have him impact others as he has impacted us.  One of the best gifts Rob gave us was an introduction to his brother Zak, who now manages our audio and video studios and has the same passion as Rob does for music and video production.”
